The topic of UFO’s is as hot as ever and worldwide interest continues to grow!
UFOetry is as unique as you could expect from a band that has a recurring theme of unidentified flying objects in its music and plays such events as the Roswell UFO Festival. Vocalist Josh Poet, MUFON member and avid follower of the UFO world, stays up to date and incorporates the latest info on the subject into every facet of UFOetry’s production.

Their album “Blue Planet Tour” is ripe with interesting, provocative music. Just witness the singles “Roswell,” “Confirm or Deny” and “We Never Went to the Moon,” which show off UFOetry’s peculiar spoken-word presentations pasted over the dense dirge fusion of low-fi punk wave stonedustrial music. Weirdness emanates from UFOetry’s speaker manifestations, but as odd as it may seem at first blush, this music is strangely compelling, hypnotic even.

Along its journey, UFOetry is receiving worldwide press recognition and gracing the front pages of newspapers, with stories being translated into several international languages. An internet search will reveal the global attention that UFOetry is now attracting. Joshua Poet has been a guest on X-Zone Radio with Rob McConnell, UFO Files with Jerry Pippin and LiveFromRoswell with Guy Malone who refers to UFOetry's music as "the music of ufology.” Three Music Videos are available online now, which to date have received over 250,000 viewings and continue to be watched daily.

Building on this momentum, with their audience being the UFO community, UFOetry began it’s "Blue Planet Tour", in 2006, performing at UFO Festivals/Conferences and Expos. Nuclear phycist & internationally recognized UFOlogist, Stanton Friedman introduced the band at the 1st performance at Aztec UFO Symposium. 2 months later, during their performance at the Retro UFO Spaceship Convention, in front of the World Famous Integratron, six orange orbs were sighted in the night sky, a confirmation of UFOetry’s cosmic reputation. The year was capped off by a successful 6 week theatrical run in Hollywood.

Highlights of 2007 included, thrilling audiences with their daily performances at the Roswell UFO Festival 60th Anniversary and receiving a “Concert Performance of the Year Award” from the Hollywood F.A.M.E. Awards in November.

Now in 2008, for the 2nd year, UFOetry was one of the headliners at the Roswell UFO Festival, with 10 performances over their 3 day visit July 3, 4 & 5. which included a live acoustic spot on the CBS Early Edition. They recieved a "Stage Show" of the Year award for their UFO Rock Opera and were after party performers for this year’s Los Angeles Music Awards Event in Hollywood, California in November.

In 2009, UFOetry will be returing to Roswell UFO Festival for their 3rd year in a row.
